Primal Council - Vault Of Incarnates Normal / Heroic / Mythic Raid Strategy Guide

This guide will discuss the Primal Council fight in Vault of the Incarnates on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulty.

Primal Council Normal Difficulty

You fight four bosses at once. They do not share health, and you want to kill them simultaneously. When one dies, it channels raid damage until they’re all dead so bring them down evenly.

Each boss has an element, and the whole thing is rock paper and scissors. Have one tank take Opalfang; the other takes Embar, and swap after Opalfang uses Crush.

Embar’s tank needs to point her away from the group. She does a frontal cone called Slashing Blaze.

Meanwhile, Dathea and Kadros will spam cast at random targets. Kick his Frost Spike and her Lightning Bolt when you can to help healers.

Earthen Pillars will spawn on these brown swirls - hurry out of the way.

Conductive Mark targets a few players with HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS lightning circles. If you touch anybody with that, you will copy it to them, which can get ugly very quickly. If you get the debuff, walk it near a rock pillar to safely remove it.

Meteor Axes ability targets two players. When it goes off, it does split damage, clears any earth pillars in range, and drops a fire pool. Soak them with a few people each, and clear up some pillars.

Primal Blizzard happens when Ice boy caps on energy, which puts a stacking DoT on the whole raid. If you get ten stacks, you get Frost Tombed, and people have to break you out.

To avoid that great shame, you can clear your ice stacks by dipping a toe into a fire pool. Touch the fire once during a blizzard to reset your stacks, and you’re good to go.

On Normal, that’s it.

Primal Council Heroic Difficulty

On Heroic, the Earthen Pillars do constant raid damage, which makes it more important to clear them with the Meteor Axes.

Heroic Meteor Axes also debuff you, making it a death sentence to soak both of them. So, soak only one!

Primal Council Mythic Difficulty

The lightning debuff doesn't expire anymore. The only way to clear the debuff is to touch an earth pillar.

The fire pools that reset the blizzard stacks now shrink with each player resetting. Only reset twice: once during the Blizzard and once at the end.
