Tarecgosa's Visage and Treasure Goblins: Latest WoW Highlights
Introduction
Welcome to another exciting edition of World of Warcraft news and updates brought to you by the WowCarry team. As always, we aim to keep you up to speed with the latest happenings in Azeroth, sharing what we've been up to, and providing answers to your pressing questions. In this edition, we delve into the new Blue Dragonflight questline, discuss the unique mount that comes with it, and more. Let's get into it!
The Exclusive Tarecgosa Mount
A new Blue Dragonflight questline is now available and with it comes a unique mount - Tarecgosa's Visage. This mount is available to players who embark on the Blue Dragonflight questline, and possess Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest, the legendary Cataclysm staff, on their character. Currently, it seems the mount can only be used by the character that owns the staff. Although it's old content, obtaining the staff is not an immediate affair, making this mount an exclusive privilege for a select group of players. Presently, Tarecgosa's Visage is not on the expanded Dragonriding list, but we are hopeful that it will be included when more mounts get Dragonriding options in the future.
Expanded Dragonriding Confirmed
Following up on our discussion last week, we can now confirm that expanded Dragonriding mounts and Dragonriding outside of the Isles is coming. This information was verified in a recent Blue post. However, it comes with a caveat that it will not be complete until later in the Dragonflight expansion. Despite it being an early work in progress and not a feature of the upcoming 10.1.5 Fractures in Time update, it's exciting to know that this eagerly awaited feature is on its way.
The Greedy Emissary Event
In celebration of Diablo 4's launch, the WoW event Greedy Emissary has kicked off. During this event, Treasure Goblins will spawn in major cities and Dragonflight zones every thirty minutes. These goblins drop buff charms and Diablo-themed cosmetics. The event will continue until the end of the day on June 14th. There's a good selection of brand-new and returning cosmetics to discover, with the updated visual appearance of the Tome of Town Portal cosmetic Hearthstone being a standout highlight. Take note that the buff charms no longer work in instances, so there's no need to gather them for raid nights or key pushing.
The Epic Purple Shirt
For our Twitch Prime subscribers, there's a new piece of loot up for grabs. This time, it's the Epic Purple Shirt. Make sure to log in and claim this cool item.
Progressing through the Aberrus Raid
We've been making steady progress through the Aberrus raid, defeating Heroic Magmorax with relative ease, despite the rumors of its difficulty. The Echo of Neltharion took a bit more effort but wasn't particularly challenging. The real challenge came from Heroic Zskarn and the third phase of Scalecommander Sarkareth, both of which required significant effort and coordination to overcome. Despite these challenges, we're enjoying the raid, and it's safe to say that it has proven to be an engaging journey.
Final Thoughts
The world of Azeroth never ceases to surprise us with its constant evolution and exciting additions. From the exclusive Tarecgosa's Visage mount to the thrilling expansion of Dragonriding, this week was filled with fun surprises and challenges. The Greedy Emissary event brought a bit of Diablo 4 to WoW, and we hope you all managed to grab your Epic Purple Shirt from Twitch Prime. The progression through the Aberrus raid continues to provide us with thrills and spills, and we look forward to what lies ahead. As we conclude, we'd like to remind you that while challenges may be steep, the spirit of adventure always prevails in the World of Warcraft.
