Frequently Asked Questions
Description
Jewelcrafting is one of the two main professions available to every WotLK player, and WowCarry team ready to help you to get this skill up to 450. Usually, Jewelcrafting is used in conjunction with Mining, as it uses raw mining materials, or with Alchemy, as one of the few instances of getting epic gem is through transmutation. The most common Jewelcrafting recipes are various gems that increase your character stats. Also, once every 20 hours, you can create an Ice Prism to get gems. Jewelers also create various rings, necklaces and trinkets. The important thing is that the rings and necklaces are BoE and can be sold on the auction house for additional gold. Trinkets are BoP and can only be used by the Jeweler himself. These trinkets are a good pre-raid gear. There are also Dragon's Eye gems. The Dragon's Eye can be purchased with the DDalaran Jewelcrafter's Token in Dalaran. Gems from the Dragon's Eye are unique, there can be a maximum of 3 in a character's equipment, and they require Jewelcrafting profession 350. These gems provide significantly more stats than those that do not require Jewelcrafting proficiency. There are several events to get epic gems: since they are not BoP, they can sometimes be bought at the auction house, bought for 10 Emblems of Heroism, 10k Honor, alchemical transmutation 1 time per 20 hours, with a chance from Ice Prism or Prospecting Titanium Ore. Prospecting Titanium Ore also yields Titanium Powder, which can be exchanged for Dalaran Jewelcrafter's Token in Dalaran. You can also get the Dalaran Jewelcrafter's Token by completing the jeweler's daily quests. In addition to gems, you can make BoE rings and necklaces from the Dragon's Eye to improve your character or get extra gold. There are others gems - Skyflare Diamond and Earthsiege Diamond. They can only be obtained with alchemical transmutation, and they are for creating meta gems. At character level 65 and Jewelcrafting skill level of 325, a quest is available for the player to perceive the passive ability - Perfection of Gems. This passive skill has proven to be useful when leveling, as this skill allows you to randomly obtain a Perfect Gem when crafting an Uncommon Gem. Perfect Gem increases the character's stats are slightly larger than the Uncommon Gem, so it's a very useful bonus for character leveling. The WowCarry team is always ready to help you to increase skill of Jewelcrafting profession!
