Recently, I was thrilled to add the Grooving Green minion to my collection from the latest Arcadian Heavyweight series in FFXIV. Though it raises questions about the potential for more themed characters, it's an exciting addition nonetheless. While an Electro-themed minion for Wicked Thunder would have been exciting, the Grooving Green minion beautifully captures the vibrant essence of the Arcadian's cruiserweight division.

Features of the Grooving Green Minion

The Grooving Green minion is a delightful 'mini-toad' with impressive detail and animations:

1. Chibi Representation: This minion is a miniaturized version of Dancing Green, complete with groovy glasses.
2. Idle Animation: It features a Jeep pose and taps its foot to the rhythm, adding to its charisma.
3. Special Emote: Using a poke emote, you can trigger it to perform a special dance on a summoned dance floor.

Interaction and Animation

Despite owning both Black Cat and Dancing Green minions, they do not interact, primarily cycling through their idle animations. It's a missed opportunity for a duel between them, but the alternating animations keep things interesting. On another note, this minion boasts two distinct dance routines, providing variance in its idle stance that keeps the collection lively.

Although there's hope for more Arcadian fighter minions, having Grooving Green feels like securing a piece of a grand adventure. The anticipation now builds for the Savage tier and exploring the party finder strategies to come.
