This event is a three-week temporary event, and although my participation might be brief, ranging from one to three weeks, I wanted to optimize my approach.    My primary choice is Rut's Elemental Hit Surf Caster build. This build is compelling for day one progression due to its robust early game performance. Here's why it's ideal:

   • High early-game damage output and reliable defense.
   • Max evade potential and option to transition into Chaos Inoculation (CI) for improved protection.
   • Permafrost effect on enemies, mitigating threats by keeping them at bay.
2. Smite Gambler (Potential Alternative)

   Though not my main focus, the Smite Gambler build is another intriguing option. Some of its highlights include:

   • Utilization of inverted resistance, taking advantage of additional map modifiers.
   • Buffed abilities like "Grove Accumulator" for significant damage enhancement.
   • Enhanced versatility due to recent buffs in alternative ascendancies.

Importance of a Strong Start

The initial stages of the event, specifically the first 12 hours, are crucial for progression. Players should focus on builds capable of dealing substantial damage while maintaining high survivability. To illustrate the increase in difficulty, day-one progress could feel twice as challenging, demanding double the typical damage and defense levels. This emphasis on an early build is crucial due to several factors:

• Enraged bosses with random map modifiers increase the fight difficulty.
• New mechanics akin to gauntlet mechanics make encounters more challenging.

Given these changes, choosing a strong build like Elemental Hit that scales efficiently can significantly impact your progression and overall event experience.

Selecting a build with early strength ensures smoother progression, making it less likely to reroll at day three or four. Although the Smite Gambler offers unique advantages, Elemental Hit remains my preferred choice due to its early game reliability and defensive capabilities. As I prepare for this event, maintaining focus on a capable early-game build is my priority to tackle the challenges efficiently.

Focusing on having a smooth early game is crucial, especially when dealing with challenging scenarios like gauntlet modifiers and enraged campaign bosses. In this context, choosing a build with early high damage potential can be a game-changer. For example, Surf caster thrives when leveling as Aracalli, boasting the impressive level 15 envy that grants 140 flat damage as soon as you complete the normal lab. This substantial increase can even triple your damage, providing a significant advantage during tough campaign phases.

In contrast, leveling as a duelist without focusing on slams often results in a less effective early game experience. Although the Smite build shows promise, reaching its potential with the level 27 holy relic doesn't occur until later, around level 55. This makes Aracalli an attractive option for solid early-game performance.

When crafting high-tier gear, following a structured plan maximizes efficiency and resource use. Here's a quick breakdown of the gear tree approach:

• Six Link Tree: Initially prioritize six-link body armor setups to enhance your build's defensive capabilities.

• Body Armor Adjustments: Replace weapon nodes with body armor, integrating increased chances for defense modifiers, essential for crafting triple ES or evasion chests.

Switch to the weapon tree after acquiring a decent six-link body armor, focusing on gaining a tier one fracture for your weapon. Effective weapon crafting dramatically boosts damage output, a crucial factor for early progression.

League Start Activities

To optimize early league progression, begin with activities like boss rush and red alters:

• Day One Focus: Emphasize boss rush strategies and red alters for efficient farming.
• Transition Activities: Move into farming boxes or high-budget farming strategies like giga blade or quant scarabs over time, selecting methods that promise substantial returns.
