Collect the Five Ragefire Chasm Pickups Before the Run
Prepare the five Horde quest lines before entering Ragefire Chasm, and leave time for two easy-to-miss handoffs. Hidden Enemies requires a return to Thrall after speaking to Neeru. The lost-satchel task requires accepting a new quest at Maur Grimtotem's corpse inside the dungeon.
This route covers the original WoW Classic Era and Anniversary dungeon quests. Five starting quest names do not mean only five quest steps: Hidden Enemies continues through several quests with the same name, while the satchel search has a separately named return quest.

The Thunder Bluff tasks share a quest giver, so collect both during that visit. The Orgrimmar errands need more attention because reaching Neeru is not the final prerequisite for the Hidden Enemies boss kills.
Hidden Enemies: Return to Thrall Before You Enter
The quest IDs distinguish the identically named steps. Follow their hand-ins rather than treating the first quest as credit for the entire chain:
- 5726: recover the Lieutenant's Insignia. Start with Thrall, obtain the insignia from the Burning Blade in Skull Rock, Durotar, and bring it back to him.
- 5727: speak to Neeru, then return to Thrall. Take the next task to Neeru Fireblade in the Cleft of Shadow, use his dialogue, and report back. The quest's objective explicitly requires that return.
- 5728: accept the actual dungeon objective. Before joining the run, confirm that your log asks for Bazzalan and Jergosh the Invoker. Kill both, then report to Thrall.
- 5729 and 5730: finish the conversation chain. Thrall sends you back to Neeru; Neeru then sends you to Thrall for the final hand-in and reward.
Before the group enters: open your quest log and inspect the objective, not just the repeated Hidden Enemies title. A Neeru conversation task is not the same quest as the two-boss kill task.
The Lost Satchel Changes Quests at the Corpse
Searching for the Lost Satchel, 5722, ends at Maur Grimtotem's corpse inside Ragefire Chasm. Complete that search there, then accept Returning the Lost Satchel, 5724, from the corpse.
The follow-up provides the Grimtotem Satchel. Take it to Rahauro in Thunder Bluff. Finding the body alone does not complete the return to Rahauro, so check that you accepted the follow-up and have the provided item before leaving.
Finish the Kill and Loot Tasks, Then Visit the Correct Recipients
Testing an Enemy's Strength requires eight Ragefire Troggs and eight Ragefire Shamans. Check both counters while moving through the dungeon. For Slaying the Beast, recover Taragaman's heart; a boss kill and possession of the quest item are separate checks. For The Power to Destroy..., make sure you have both books, not just one.
After the run, group the hand-ins by city:
- Orgrimmar: return the heart to Neeru, report the Hidden Enemies boss kills to Thrall, then complete its Neeru-and-Thrall conversation follow-ups.
- Thunder Bluff: report the trogg and shaman kills to Rahauro and hand over the satchel from the corpse's return quest.
- Undercity: bring the two books to Varimathras.
