Question 2

When does the new Path of Exile league start?

Accepted Answer

Path of Exile leagues typically run every 3–4 months. The current league, Curse of the Allflame (3.29), launched on March 6, 2026 and runs through roughly mid-July 2026; the next league has not been dated yet.

Question 3

Can I play the new Path of Exile league with my old character?

Accepted Answer

No, each new Path of Exile league requires creating a fresh character, but once the league ends, that character is permanently moved to Standard.

Question 4

What happens to my characters after the league ends in Path of Exile?

Accepted Answer

After a Path of Exile league ends, all characters, items, and stash tabs are automatically transferred to the permanent Standard or Hardcore league, allowing you to continue playing without losing progress.
