How to Become a Leaderboard Legend
The Diablo 4 Leaderboard Legends competition ran from March 19 to April 2, 2024, inside Gauntlet mode. Players who held the top score in any bracket at the weekly reset (Tuesdays at 9 a.m. PT) were declared the winner for that week and received a personalized, custom-autographed poster from Blizzard artist Micah Ulrich.
Solo and Multiplayer Brackets
Solo competitors raced per-class Ladders with separate tracks for Normal and Hardcore characters, with one winner per class per mode per week. Group players competed across pairs, 3-player, and 4-player Ladders on both Hardcore and Normal, yielding 18 total multiplayer winners per week. Each winning group received the same custom autographed print as solo winners.
To reach the top of any Gauntlet Ladder, players needed to maximize their Gauntlet score before the Tuesday reset; kills, elite density, and overall time efficiency all contribute to the final tally.
About the Gauntlet
Gauntlet is Diablo 4's fixed-layout, score-attack dungeon with the same map shared by all players during each weekly rotation. Because the layout is shared, the Leaderboard Legends competition provided a direct skill comparison with no dungeon-seed variance. Players optimizing their Explore Gauntlet builds for Diablo 4 focused on area-of-effect damage, movement speed, and kill efficiency to push bracket scores higher each week.
