The Public Test Realm (PTR) for Diablo 4 Season 5 is scheduled to open on June 25th, giving players a full week to explore its latest updates. This testing phase is exclusive to PC users via Battle.net. Details from the PTR will be available following the livestream, and the actual Season 5 will kick off on August 6th and conclude with the release of Vessel of Hatred on October 8th.
Season 5 introduces Infernal Hordes, a new roguelite mode designed to test players' mettle. In this mode, you will choose from new powers between enemy waves. A notable challenge includes a boss fight where players face off against three revived members of the Fel Council. The mode offers rewarding loot opportunities, including special chests that contain Masterworking Materials or items with a Greater Affix.
