November 2024 Promotion: Separate the Booster from the Timed Events
Blizzard's November 2024 returning-player promotion combined an Eternal character boost with three separate limited-time events. The Red-Cloaked Horror, Spiritborn trial and Mother's Blessing windows listed here have ended. They are historical dates, not a November 2026 announcement.
The original November 14, 2024 announcement gave the Welcome Back Booster a November 19 start but did not specify an end date. Its event deadlines alone do not establish whether an account can claim the booster today.
Who the Welcome Back Booster Covered
The offer allowed one character on the Eternal Realm to receive the boost, or two Eternal characters for Vessel of Hatred owners. Hardcore characters were excluded.
With the chosen character, players visited the tavern in Kyovashad and interacted with the Fated Reliquary. The package included:
- A boost to level 50.
- A choice of three builds for that class, with a full Legendary item set and a skill tree matching the selected build.
- All Altars of Lilith unlocked.
- 1 million Gold, 1,000 Obols, one Scroll of Amnesia and crafting materials.
An Eternal character already at level 50 could still receive the Legendary items and class build choices. The offer described a prepared starting point; it did not promise a universally best endgame build.
The Three Event Windows Were Different
The following periods all belong to 2024. Only the Horror announcement supplied exact start and end times.

Spiritborn trial progress could carry into the expansion if purchased. The Blessing announcement did not give a numerical bonus percentage, so these dates should not be paired with a rate from another occurrence.
What the Horror and Gileon's Brew Offered
During the event, the Horror could replace a Hellborne in Helltide or ambush players in Infernal Hordes and dungeons. Blightfiends also appeared in Helltide ambushes. Rewards included Cinders and Burning Aether in the relevant activities.
Defeating the Horror guaranteed Gileon's Brew; Tortured Gifts in Helltide also had a chance to drop it. Its announced 30-minute effect gave 20% increased damage, 15% increased XP and additional herb and crafting-material drops from enemies.
Kyovashad's restored Midwinter Square offered a one-time gift per account. That was separate from claiming the character booster or completing the Spiritborn trial.
