Lunar Awakening 2025 Ran from February 4 to February 18
The February 2025 Lunar Awakening event has ended. Its window was February 4 at 10 a.m. PST to February 18 at 10 a.m. PST, on both Seasonal and Eternal Realms. This reference covers that year's shrine effects and reward rules.
Blizzard's January 29, 2025 announcement included Sanctuary and Nahantu. Activating a Lunar Shrine granted 100% bonus experience, multiplicative, for two minutes, along with the shrine's enhanced power. The XP benefit belonged to that temporary activation buff, rather than remaining continuously active throughout the event.
All Seven Lunar Shrine Effects
Lunar Shrines replaced ordinary shrines during the event, with a snake-themed appearance and a distinct map icon. Each supplied an extra effect alongside its normal shrine power.

Miserly Spirits appeared immediately when a Lunar Shrine was activated. This created targets on which to use the enhanced effect. The Lethal shrine's Elite inclusion is a separate target rule; it does not establish that its execution effect works on bosses.
Earn Ancestral Favor, Then Visit Ying-Yue
Players earned Ancestral Favor Reputation by activating Lunar Shrines and fighting monsters in the wilderness and dungeons. The event hub was the Lunar Night Market in northern Ked Bardu, led by Ying-Yue.
Visit Ying-Yue to claim the reputation rewards. There were 10 reputation tiers, including a Resplendent Spark and six Lunar-themed cosmetic rewards. After completing those tiers, continued reputation could earn Unceasing Gifts from the Ancestors caches.
That repeat-cache route was different from collecting the cosmetics again: the announcement specified that the listed Lunar cosmetics could only be earned once.
Separate Earned Cosmetics from Tejal's Shop
The earned rewards included Trag'Oul's Consort, the mount highlighted for the event. Blizzard's one-time cosmetic list named Lunar Scepter, Dragon's Courage, Moonshot Bow, Dragon's Tapestry, Moon's Bounty and Trag'Oul's Consort. Having previously earned a listed cosmetic did not create a new copy to collect through a repeat run.
Tejal's shop was a separate offering. The announcement listed Scholar of the Lonely Moon armor cosmetics for Sorcerer and Dragon of the Lonely Moon mount armor there. These shop items were not additional earned reputation-tier rewards.
The mount reward, mount armor and reputation caches were therefore different outcomes. Check the reward's exact name and source when comparing a 2025 collection with what the event offered.
