Since its announcement at Blizzcon last year, the Armory feature has been eagerly awaited by the Diablo 4 community. The development team’s commitment to incorporating player feedback is highlighted by their latest update, where they introduced the Armory in the upcoming Season 7 PTR schedule from December 3 to December 10.
The Armory represents a significant upgrade to player convenience, allowing for seamless transitions between saved builds while in town. Its key functionalities include the ability to save, load, and name your preferred character configurations.
Each character can possess up to five distinct Loadout slots. These slots capture comprehensive details of your character’s configuration, which includes Equipment, Skills, selected Paragon Nodes, and Glyphs. A particularly player-friendly feature is that switching between different Paragon loadouts incurs no gold cost.
The Armory can be accessed in major cities throughout Sanctuary, including but not limited to end-game hubs such as the Citadel, Tree of Whispers, and Training Grounds in Kyovashad. This widespread availability ensures that players can easily manage their builds as they navigate through various parts of the game.
To utilize the Armory, players will choose an empty slot to start and save their build information, covering equipped items, Paragon Board selections, Glyphs, and skill choices, along with class-specific mechanics.
Should any item within a saved loadout be sold, traded, or salvaged, the Armory’s interface will notify the player by displaying a missing item icon on the Loadout preview. This feature ensures players are always aware of their gear status and can make adjustments accordingly.
