With the Tier 25 portal opened by a Chinese player who had cleared Tier 24, WowCarry entered the final tier of the Abattoir of Zir equipped with a Barbarian running both HotA and Whirlwind builds. It quickly became clear that the primary obstacle is not a mechanical challenge but raw monster health; the enemies simply have more HP than any current build can burn down in the time limit.
Content creator Wudijo, who tested Tier 25 at Blizzard's headquarters after BlizzCon, confirmed that no player can currently clear the tier. WowCarry's own attempt corroborated this, even with a fully optimised Barbarian, damage output falls far short of the health pools present at this tier.
Monsters in Abattoir of Zir Tier 25 spawn at level 160. Community calculations put their health at approximately 1,300% above Tier 1 baseline, a scaling curve that makes the final tier a theoretical ceiling rather than a current progression target.
The community is divided. Some players are frustrated that the advertised final tier is functionally unbeatable. Others, including WowCarry, see the existence of unreachable content as a net positive: a season-long goal that keeps players theorycrafting builds and chasing damage improvements throughout the entire Abattoir of Zir window.
After working through Tier 24 with the assistance of the Chinese player's portal, WowCarry has set his sights on a proper Tier 25 attempt without the high-ping disadvantage. Whether the current Barbarian ceiling — or any other class — can eventually reach a 1,300% health multiplier remains to be seen. The Abattoir of Zir is Diablo 4's most demanding seasonal challenge; Tier 25 is its open question for Season 2.
