Before the restart, log in to the relevant character, visit the estate and review its actual housing status. A service account receiving future compensation and a particular estate meeting its inactivity conditions are different questions. Logins and Save-Data Backup Have Both Returned
The October 22 login-recovery notice says updated patch servers were released around 05:16 PDT and new logins resumed. Its statement that save-data backup remained suspended was correct for that notice’s publication time.
A later October 23 follow-up confirms that the backup function resumed around 01:35 PDT. Use the later status when deciding whether that particular suspension is still active. A new login problem should be checked against the current service-status notice, rather than automatically attributed to the completed October outage.
Returning This Week? Keep Event Deadlines Separate
After checking account and housing status, review the content you intended to play. Crucible Season 1 rankings begin October 26 at 05:00 UTC, while All Saints’ Wake has its own November 2 endpoint. Neither recovery notice extends those event schedules.
Choose the next action by the actual deadline: an estate check before demolition resumes, the correct entry conditions for ranked Crucible attempts, then remaining event rewards. The compensation grant can be reviewed separately when its distribution starts.
