Improved Navigation with Etherites
Patch 7.4 introduces exciting advancements in the cosmic exploration of the Marilamentum and the moon, particularly focusing on the Sinus Adorum location. A significant enhancement is the installation of mini Etherites connecting to an Ethernet network. Visitors will find these strategically placed across various locations such as:
- The central hub of Sinus Adorum
- Scream Puff at Calabash Cove
- Luna Nadier
- The Mushroom or Wedding Ways Bower
- Gleam Slope
Attuning to these Etherites simplifies navigation, eliminating the need for cumbersome cosmo liner travels and saving time, especially during FATEs. This upgrade enhances the convenience of gathering, crafting, and exploration. It is also announced that Ethernet shards will be placed on Oies, the newly anticipated planet, as the development of the star progresses.
Gold Count System in Stellar Missions
Another notable update is the introduction of the gold count system during stellar missions. When completing consecutive missions with a gold star rank, players receive a gold count bonus. The system works as follows:
- Achieving consecutive gold star ranks (Class A or higher) contributes to your gold count.
- A streak of consecutive gold stars increases reward bonuses by 5%.
- The bonus affects Cosmo credits and FYA credits but not cosmic class points.
This system enhances the efficiency of credit accumulation, capping at five consecutive missions, making it easier to gather items or dyes from Cosmic Fortune.
Quality of Life Improvements
- Stellar Mission Alerts: Missions now display a message if expert recipes are required, allowing players to prepare or avoid them accordingly.
- NPC Alerts: An exclamation mark now indicates NPCs with issued mechs.
- Red Alerts Warps: Players can speak with Leader on Sanosorum to directly warp to mission sites, facilitating quicker response during red alerts.
Looking Forward: Cosmic Exploration Expansion
The groundwork is being laid for further updates in patch 7.41, with a focus on new planets and exploration features. Upcoming enhancements include:
- An exo-tablet expansion preparing for the artifact search feature.
- Updated exploration text aligning with the artifact search missions.
Future cosmic exploration promises the intriguing possibility of delving into ancient ruins, adding depth and narrative to these vast, often desolate areas. Enhancements in social features would address the currently isolated feel of exploration, providing more dynamic world growth.
These updates pave the way for a more streamlined and engaging exploration experience, with anticipation building for the next world and explorative opportunities.
