Two Quests Led to Ambulario in the 2025 Event
Frights of Fancy led into Dressed to Impresario, the All Saints’ Wake 2025 quest that awarded Ambulario. This is the archived quest sequence: that event ended on November 4, 2025. For the current celebration and its different story, use the 2026 All Saints’ Wake guide.
The original start was the Pumpkin-headed Apparition in Old Gridania, X:10.2, Y:9.4, with a level-15 requirement. Square Enix’s 2025 event page confirms those entry details and states that seasonal quests cannot be completed after the event concludes.
Frights of Fancy: Investigate, Then Bring Back the Materials
The FFXIV Online Wiki’s recorded quest journals preserve the two-quest sequence. The first part was an investigation and collection task:
- Speak with the Genial Guiser to enter the Haunted Manor, then meet the Impresario.
- Investigate the second floor, then the first. Speak with the indicated frightened guests and troublesome performers before returning to the Impresario.
- Return to the Pumpkin-headed Apparition in Gridania.
- Obtain All Saints’ Cookies from the Shady Smock and a Decorative Pumpkin from the Greatloam Gourdkeep at the Botanists’ Guild.
- Deliver both quest materials to the apparition to finish Frights of Fancy.
The cookies and pumpkin were supplied through the quest’s NPC conversations. The next stage began after this delivery; visiting the manor once was not the whole mount questline.
Dressed to Impresario: Treat the Guests, Trick the Performers
Accept the follow-up from the apparition and return to the manor through the Genial Guiser. Speak with the Impresario to operate the mechanical Ambulario. Work through the second-floor objectives before the first-floor objectives.
The action depends on the target’s role in the masquerade:

If an interaction failed, the useful check was whether the target was a guest or performer. A frightened guest needed reassurance through the treat, while a mischievous member of the troupe needed the trick. The quest dialogue explicitly distinguished those outcomes.
After resolving both floors, speak with the Impresario again, then return to the apparition in Gridania for the final hand-in and Ambulario reward. If separated from the quest vehicle before finishing, the Impresario could put you back aboard.
Return Visits Used Two Different Guides
Square Enix’s official 2025 preview confirms that the Haunted Manor and Sneaky Hollow reopened after seasonal quest completion, with visits available until the event ended.

Transfigurations and Photographs
The 2025 preview highlighted added transfiguration options for characters encountered in Dawntrail. Select the appearance from the event’s available menu, then use the area and lighting to frame a photograph. The indoor manor and outdoor garden offered different backdrops.
For an indoor portrait, keep the glowing pumpkin decorations from obscuring the character’s face. For a wider garden scene, include the house or moon behind the subject and leave room around hats, ears and other parts of the silhouette. Group Pose makes it easier to adjust the composition before capturing the image.
