Known Issues and Recent Fixes in Patch 7.4

Treasure Coffer Duplication Bug

Another critical issue involved a duplication bug with treasure coffers at the Accult Crescent South Horn. This bug allowed players to repeatedly obtain items, prompting access restrictions. Emergency maintenance on December 17th resolved the problem, and the restrictions were lifted. Although the issue was quickly addressed, it underlined the potential impact of such bugs and the need for swift action.

Glamour and Gear Dye Issues

Numerous players encountered problems with the appearance of certain gear items post-patch:

• The Zero’s Order Curus body gear had dye issues where the cape's lining didn't reflect any dyes and the waist decoration was incorrectly displaying colors.
• The Palaca vest of striking, aiming, and scouting displayed incorrect color for specific racial and gender groups, including Midlanders, Miqo'te, Elezen, Au Ra, and Viera males.

These issues were mostly resolved by December 19th, highlighting the complexities introduced by changes in dye pallet systems.

Group Pose Freeze Issue

The group pose feature caused clients to freeze under specific conditions when taking photos in portrait mode. This primarily affected users with widescreen resolutions set beyond 16x9. Currently, the workaround involves checking the "Remove Aspect Ratio Limits" option in system settings to prevent freezing, though this means photos will be captured at the current screen resolution. The issue remains under investigation as of December 22nd.

Adventurer Plate Glamor Bug

A peculiar bug has been identified where players encounter an error message when attempting to save Adventurer Plate portraits. This issue arises when:

• A Scholar’s arms glamour is applied to an Arcanist Grimoire.
• An Arcanist Grimoire glamour is applied to Scholar arms.
• Job-exclusive equipment glamour is not compatible with the character’s class.

While this issue is being investigated for a fix, the ability to apply these glamours is intentional and not a bug, despite initial confusion.
