Patch 7.5 went live on April 28, 2026 under the subtitle "Trail to the Heavens". The 7.50 release shipped the finale of the Echoes of Vana'diel alliance raid trilogy, a new Crystalline Conflict stage, a fresh dungeon and trial, a new Ocean Fishing route, MSQ continuation, and the glamour and dye consolidation everyone's been asking about. What it did not ship are several things still queued for sub-patches: Cosmic Exploration's Auxesia waits until 7.51, the Occult Crescent's North Horn expansion lands in 7.55, and the Beastmaster limited job ships with 7.56. This walkthrough partitions the patch correctly so you know what's playable today and what's coming.
With the calendar mapped out, the 7.50 features players can already chase are worth working through in priority order.
The 7.5 wing closes out the three-part FFXI nostalgia alliance raid trilogy. The first boss, Shantotto the Demon, made her live debut in the Live Letter 92 demo and is the encounter Yoshida himself ran through on stream. The arc surfaces returning FFXI faces including Prishe and Aphmau, along with the broader Vana'diel city-state cast of Tarutaru, San d'Oria, Bastok, and Windurst framings.
The side quest "The Hollow Promise" unlocks the raid currency loop, which uses Tattered Third Movement Scores. Hand those in to the goblin in Lower Jeuno for orchestrion rolls. The final coffer drops the Wind-up Prishe minion, which is the single piece of loot worth grinding the raid weekly for after your gear is settled.
The alliance raid gear leans hard on FFXI's three-nation aesthetic. Expect Tarutaru-styled robes, San d'Oria plate options, and Windurst pieces with the city-state's signature silhouettes. Per Icy Veins' Patch 7.5 hub, the gear scales to the current 7.5 endgame iLvl, so it slots cleanly alongside Tomestone gear for fresh 100s. The first parties through can clear the Echoes of Vana'diel finale on day one for the minion roll if they don't want to wait on a static.
The new CC stage is Archeia Harmonias, a Sharlayan-library themed map that is genuinely different from anything previously in the rotation. Two mechanics drive the map:
Healing glyphs scatter the map as tactical zones, giving healers and DPS a positional incentive to break formation and trade traffic. The map rewards teams that can fight for the aetherometer mid-round rather than camping crystal lanes.
PvP Series 11 rewards landed alongside the new stage. The standout unlocks: the Conduct emote at rank 5 from "Ballroom Etiquette - Orchestral Operations", the Archeia Harmonias Framer's Kit at rank 10, and the Little Blue Viking minion at rank 15. Solo queue, ranked, and casual all feed the same Series 11 progression. Players running the climb can climb Crystalline Conflict ranks with a coach rather than soft-grinding the placement matches.

Field content additions include the Pelupelu Allied Society continuation with the Punutiy mount at Respected, Wind-up Pelupelu minion at Trusted, and Pelubill Calot at Bloodsworn. The capstone Dawntrail quest "The Wing Spirit Cometh" rewards the Wings of Legacy mount.
The new Ocean Fishing route extends the schedule that departs from Limsa Lominsa. The new stops touch the Ruby Sea / Thavnair circuit, with Radz-at-Han as a familiar port-of-call rather than the route's origin. The Junior Jinbei minion drops at Ruby Route's third stop, which is the practical farming target since it caps at one per voyage.
Ocean Fishing remains the same 60-minute timer per voyage and the same Spectral mechanic, but the new bait combinations and Spectral fish in this route reshuffle the scoreboard for high-score chasers.

The cosmic tool progression continues into Auxesia, so cosmic farmers should hold their tool upgrade paths until the new star opens.
Patch 7.55 ships on July 28, 2026 and is the field-content headliner. The Occult Crescent: North Horn is the Phase 2 northern continuation of the Crescent on Shades' Triangle. It extends the Eureka-style field operation framework with new Phantom Jobs and continues the Phantom Weapons enhancement quests. The Phantom Freelancer job ties to an FF5-inspired Freelancer cosmetic set that ships with this sub-patch.
7.55 also lands the Hildibrand finale "Inconceivably Further" with the Night Stallion hoverbike mount, plus capstone sidequests for the Dawntrail Allied Societies (Pelupelu, Mamool Ja, etc.).
Patch 7.56 lands in early September 2026. The headline addition is the Beastmaster limited job, solo-only at launch with its own field operation called the Crucible of the Unbroken; it follows the limited-job pattern established by Blue Mage and Pictomancer rather than slotting into standard duty content. The 7.56 release also lands the next MSQ chapter and rounds the patch off with Echoes of Vana'diel callback content as a soft farewell to the FFXI nostalgia arc.
