Can You Still Get the Buuz Earring?
The 2025 Hunt for Revelation earning and exchange windows have closed. The Buuz Earring was introduced in the Moogle Treasure Trove that began November 18, 2025, costing 100 irregular tomestones of revelation.
Checked October 25, 2026, the original event is historical. Running its old duties now will not reopen that event’s reward track. Keep a future Treasure Trove’s currency name and prize list separate from this 2025 offer.
Three Deadlines Applied to the Same Event
The official Hunt for Revelation event page allowed extra time after earning stopped. It distinguished these three actions:

Those windows are all past as of this review. An old currency stack does not restore an expired exchange window, and completing a challenge was separate from pressing its reward-claim button.
How the Historical 100-Tomestone Reward Worked
Standard objectives paid automatically. Weekly objectives, Minimog Challenges and the once-per-event Ultimog Challenge needed a Mogpendium claim. Weekly and Minimog objectives reset on Tuesdays; either offered Minimog objective qualified. Eligible duties had a moogle icon. GATEs and ocean fishing scores of at least 2,000 points also counted.
Duty Support and adventurer squadrons did not award this event currency. Unrestricted parties needed Level Sync enabled. An activity’s usual PvP, MGP or other rewards were separate from its eligibility for irregular tomestones.
Recognizing, Wearing and Storing the Earring
The current official equipment entry lists the Buuz Earring as a level 1, all-classes accessory. It is projectable as glamour, but not dyeable.
It is Unique, Untradable and Market Prohibited, so the market board cannot supply a missed copy. The item can be stored in a Glamour Dresser; the armoire does not accept it.
For an owned copy, compare the accessory with your usual hairstyle and headgear in the preview before building a glamour around it. A small dangling dumpling is easiest to judge from a profile view, where hair can otherwise conceal it.
Later Treasure Troves Use Their Own Reward Lists
The First Hunt for Astronomy in September–October 2026 used irregular tomestones of astronomy I and a different prize list. It did not list the Buuz Earring. That event’s uolon horn tokens were a separate requirement for its mount reward.
For a future return, look for Buuz Earring by name in the new official exchange list before farming. A returning Moogle Treasure Trove does not automatically bring back every previous exclusive accessory, and this guide does not promise a repeat date.
