One Manual Unlocks All Six Starlight Drink Emotes
Ballroom Etiquette - Local Libations teaches all six city-themed Sip and Gulp emotes. It was the quest reward for FFXIV’s Starlight Celebration 2025. You did not have to choose one city’s pair or change Grand Company to collect the others.
The 2025 event window is closed: it ran from December 17, 2025 at 08:00 UTC to December 31, 2025 at 14:59 UTC (00:00 PST and 06:59 PST respectively). The seasonal quest cannot be completed after that window. This reference covers the rewards from that edition.
How Local Libations Was Earned
The level-15 quest was We Three Kinderpunsch, accepted from Amh Garanjy in Old Gridania, X:10.2, Y:9.4, at Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre. Complete the quest and use the manual from your inventory to learn its emotes.
The official manual entry lists all six unlocks and marks the item Untradable and Market Prohibited. If you completed the event but cannot find the animations, check whether you used the manual, then search the Emotes menu for Sip or Gulp.
Sip Is Brief; Gulp Continues Drinking
The official text-command descriptions distinguish a short Sip animation from the continuous drinking action used by Gulp. Pick Sip for a quick greeting with a mug, or Gulp for a longer seated gathering or photo setup where the action is available.

Append motion to perform the action without its accompanying emote text: for example, /gridaniangulp motion. With no subcommand, the command displays both the animation and text. These are learned emotes; they are separate from the housing drinks below.
Four New Furnishings, Plus Returning Gridanian Decorations
The 2025 Starlight Celebrant sold both decorative mug stacks and individual servings. The historical FFXIV Online Wiki vendor record lists the following prices in gil; they describe that event’s shop, rather than a currently open seasonal vendor.

Square Enix’s reward preview also confirmed the returning Starlight Mug Tower. The older Starlight Kinderpunsch and Mug Tower provided the Gridanian counterparts, recorded at 2,000 and 2,500 gil. Their older names explain why the four new items only named Limsa Lominsa and Ul’dah.
Choose Decoration or Servings Before Placing a Drink
The official Lominsan and Ul’dahn Kinderpunsch entries each allow up to ten servings and warn that the furnishing cannot be retrieved once used. If you want to move the item into another arrangement, decide on its placement before taking a serving.
Both drinks give the same listed meal benefits: +4% Piety (maximum 10), +5% Vitality (maximum 12), +3 Gear Durability and +3% EXP for 30 minutes. Multiple servings can extend the duration to 60 minutes. These are furnishing meal effects; performing a Sip or Gulp emote does not consume a furnishing’s serving.
For a display that does not need meal interaction, choose the empty Starlight Mugs stacks. All four new furnishing records are Untradable and Market Prohibited, so they cannot be bought from another player through the Market Board. The closed 2025 quest window does not establish a date for any later reward return.
