Buy Wind-up Yok Huy at Respected for Eight Wards
Wind-up Yok Huy is the minion unlocked at the Yok Huy society’s Respected rank, the fifth reputation rank. Buy it for eight Yok Huy Wards from Rarkorgor in Urqopacha (X:31.2, Y:37.3), using the Yok Huy Ward Exchange.
The official item entry verifies its name and marks it Unique, Untradable and Market Prohibited. Rarkorgor’s official shop listing supplies the eight-Ward price. The purchase appears in the Ward exchange after the society’s Respected rank-up.
The item is a minion to register and summon. Reaching the rank unlocks its purchase; the rank-up itself does not automatically place the minion in your collection.
Finish Buried Memories to Advance From Trusted
Buried Memories is the society story quest that grants Respected reputation after Trusted. It comes from Fahrafahr in Urqopacha (X:31.6, Y:37.4), following Still as Stone and the required reputation progress.
The official quest record requires a level-90 Disciple of the Hand and preserves the accepted-class restriction. Follow the quest through its ice-removal-tool crafting objective and finish the turn-in. A filled reputation bar is the point to look for the story quest, rather than proof that the shop has already advanced.
After the rank changes, reopen Rarkorgor’s exchange and select the minion. His gil shops for crafting tools and equipment are separate menus, so finding those lists does not mean the Ward reward is absent.
If the Society Is Not Unlocked Yet
The Patch 7.35 notes give the initial route: accept Frosty Neighbors from Fahrafahr at Urqopacha (X:32.1, Y:34.3) on a level-90 crafting class. First complete the main scenario quest Dawntrail and the sidequest Brains and Brawn. The latter follows the chains beginning with A Crisis of Corruption and The Flame Burns No More.
Society dailies earn reputation and Wards. Their crafting materials are supplied, while you provide your own catalysts. Find the recipes under the Crafting Log’s Special Recipes tab and use the class associated with the accepted quest.
Reputation and currency serve different purposes. Reputation opens stock; Wards pay for it. Spending Wards on another item does not lower the rank, but it can leave too little currency for the minion purchase.
Register the Purchase, Then Find It in the Minion Guide
- Confirm that the purchased Wind-up Yok Huy item is in your inventory.
- Use the item to register the minion.
- Open the Minion Guide, locate Wind-up Yok Huy and summon it.
If it is not summonable yet, distinguish an item still sitting in inventory from a registered collection entry. The official Market Prohibited status also means the Market Board is not an alternative purchase route for this minion.
