Dragonflight's Complete Collection of Tier Set Transmogs

This blog post provides an overview of all the Tier Set transmogs available in Dragonflight for Seasons 1, 2, and 3. Players can now vote for their favorite transmogs for Season 4. Check out the links to vote for each class!

Dragonflight Tier Set Transmogs

Transmogrification lets players change the appearance of their gear while keeping its stats. Every Dragonflight season introduced class-specific Tier Set appearances tied to the season's raid — Normal, Heroic, and Mythic all carry different color palettes, with the Mythic recolor being the most visually distinct. Here is a rundown of every set across the three main seasons.

Season 1 — Vault of the Incarnates

Season 1 launched with the Vault of the Incarnates raid and introduced proto-dragon-themed Tier Sets for all thirteen classes. The sets draw heavily from the Dracthyr and primal dragon aesthetic — scales, horns, and stone textures dominate the palette. Death Knights received the imposing Dracthyr Shadowflame plate, while Druids earned the Primal Stormrage leather with branch-and-fang detailing. LFR appearances used a greyed, weathered look; Mythic pieces shifted into deep crimson and gold. Gladiator and Elite PvP sets used a separate color scheme and were exclusive to players who hit their respective rating thresholds.

Season 2 — Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible

Season 2 moved the story underground into Neltharion's secret laboratory, and the Tier Set designs reflect that shift: dark metals, void-touched edges, and corrupted fire. Evoker pieces in particular carry the draconic silhouette forward but with a shadowed, cracked-glass aesthetic that references Neltharion's fall. The Mythic tier added glowing orange energy effects visible in both the armor and weapon illusions sourced from that raid tier. A number of class sets from this season became highly sought-after transmog targets even after Dragonflight ended because of their streamlined shapes and distinct silhouettes.

Season 3 — Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope

Season 3 set the visual bar for Dragonflight transmogs. The Amirdrassil raid is built around the Emerald Dream, and the Tier Sets lean fully into that: living wood, glowing dream-fire, teal and gold organic shapes. Healer sets carry vine-and-bloom motifs, DPS sets favour sharper antler and ember details, and the tank pieces blend bark and dragonscale into something genuinely imposing. The Heroic and Mythic recolors shift the base teal palette toward deep violet and bright amber respectively. Season 3 Mythic chest tokens remained some of the most-traded items in the Dragonflight economy.

Season 4 and the Fan Vote

Season 4 did not introduce a new raid tier. Instead, Blizzard rotated Vault of the Incarnates, Aberrus, and Amirdrassil back into the Mythic+ pool and ran a community vote that let players choose which Season 1–3 Tier Set appearances would receive new recolors. The vote results were used to produce limited Awakened recolor variants, available through the Awakened raid difficulties during Season 4. Players who missed earlier Mythic appearances had a second window to earn alternate versions before Dragonflight ended in August 2024.
