Alchemists specialize in using herbs and other materials to create consumable elixirs, potions and flasks. These items are heavily used for both PvE and PvP, making Alchemy a great source of utility and income. Alchemists can also perform transmutations, a process of turning materials into other items, such as Transmute: Arcanite, a highly desired end game material. Alchemy is often paired with Herbalism to lessen or eliminate the need to purchase materials off of the Auction House.
