Welcome to this week's Fashion Report, where we help you maximize your MGP earnings in the Gold Saucer. For Week 407, the theme is "Academic at Ease," and we have a breakdown of the items and strategies for both 100 and 80-score outfits.
Achieving a 100-Score Outfit
To achieve the perfect score of 100, here's a suggested outfit combination:
- Helmet: Choose between a Crescent Moon Cone or a Crescent Moon Nightcap. Both items can be crafted by a Weaver or purchased from the Market Board.
- Chest Piece: Opt for the Skallic Jacket of Casting. This drops from the last boss or the chest before the last boss in the Drowned City of Skalla dungeon. This dungeon is accessible even on a free trial and can be soloed at level 100.
- Gloves: Acquire the Leather Ringbands, crafted by a Leatherworker or purchased from the Market Board. These are equippable by any player at any level.
- Boots: Use the Shisui Zori of Casting from the Shisui of the Violet Tides dungeon. Alternatively, the Faire Zori, a Moonfire Faire seasonal reward, can be redeemed through a Recompense Officer if you previously completed that event.
Simplifying with an 80-Score Outfit
For those happy with an 80-score outfit, here's a strategy using dyes to simplify the process:
- Apply Coral Pink dye to any weapon, gloves, and feet. This dye is available from the Sahagin vendor for 334 gil per pot.
- Use Pearl White dye for any helm and chest. This dye can be obtained from skybuilder scripts in the Firmament at a cost of 500 scripts.
- For any legs, apply Slate Gray dye, purchasable from an NPC vendor for 216 gil.
For a straightforward route to 80 points with the least hassle:
- Dye Leather Ringbands in Rose Pink.
- Select any legs and apply Slate Gray dye.
- Choose any feet and color them Rose Pink.
These steps give you a solid 80-score outfit, maximizing your MGP potential with minimal demands beyond basic in-game resources.
