As the Hearthstone 10th Anniversary event kicks off on the Korean and Taiwanese servers, players are getting a sneak peek into what this exciting event has in store. One of the highlights of the Hearthstone 10th Anniversary event is the brand new Fiery Hearthsteed mount. Simply by logging into Hearthstone during the event, players will be rewarded with this majestic mount. Not only will it unlock the mount in World of Warcraft, but it will also grant the Feat of Strength achievement, "Hearthstoned: Fiery Edition."
When you log into World of Warcraft during the event, be on the lookout for an email from MC Farala. This email will contain the Hearthstone Invitation Letter, which starts the quest "It's Hearthstone's Anniversary!" This quest will direct you to the celebration in Valdrakken, where the festivities are taking place.
The first quest, "Play Hearthstone!," will require you to play 5 Hearthstone matches using one of the tables located around the quest giver. However, on the Taiwanese servers, only two players are allowed to use a table at a time, so you may have to wait for your turn.
Talking to MC Farala also grants players a Hearthstone Starter Pack, complete with a few cards to help them jump right into the game.
During the event, there are 21 different cards to collect, each offering a unique achievement. These cards include popular Hearthstone cards such as Abomination, Alley Cat, Ancient of Lore, and more. Collecting 10 of these cards will complete the "Hearthstone Beginner" achievement and reward players with a portable Hearthstone Game Table. To get started, the starter deck you receive initially contains eight cards.
To obtain the cards, players must remain near the Hearthstone tables in Valdrakken. Occasionally, monsters from the cards will spawn and drop their respective cards as rewards. Make sure to keep an eye out for these invasions! During the invasions, there is also a chance for Whizbang to spawn.
At the beginning of every hour in Valdrakken, Stormwind, and Orgrimmar, a portal will appear, initiating a five-minute countdown. Once the countdown ends, Whizbang will appear and summon Hearthstone minions, including beloved characters like Patches and Dr. Boom. Defeating these minions grants players a chance to obtain random Hearthstone cards or collectibles from the event, such as the Collector's Carryall, The Tavern's Tabard, and the Compass Rose. More information about the drops is still being discovered, but it is expected to be similar to the structure of the Diablo anniversary event.
