Amirdrassil Before Release: A September 2023 Gallery
Amirdrassil’s early environment screenshots contrast cool blue architecture with chambers overtaken by fire. These images come from the Patch 10.2 PTR preview published by Squishei on Wowhead, September 13, 2023. This gallery preserves that pre-release look at the raid’s scenery.
Blizzard’s Guardians of the Dream release notes place the raid within the Emerald Dream. The update arrived in the week of November 7, 2023; Normal, Heroic and Mythic Amirdrassil opened in the week of November 14.
Blue Halls, Water and Living Greenery

The broad hall combines tall pointed windows with low, planted islands. Curving pale borders link the floor’s green spaces, while the central round pool repeats the room’s blue light. Trees and trailing foliage soften the otherwise imposing stone interior.

The overhead view emphasizes vertical space: several bright waterfalls descend between pillars into a lower pool. Lily pads and small plants provide a sense of scale. This angle is useful for seeing the architecture that a ground-level view can hide.
Another perspective focuses on a vine-framed doorway between large pillars. Open that original screenshot to inspect the floor inlays, carved frame and small patches of flowers.
The Shift From Blue Light to Fire

The scorched chamber uses similar pointed frames and curved platforms, but replaces the cool palette with orange light, dark branches and molten falls. A blue-green doorway remains visible near the center, making the contrast especially clear.
