Amirdrassil Trinket and Cantrip Adjustments on Patch 10.2 PTR

This blog post discusses the recent adjustments made to various trinkets and Cantrip weapons in Patch 10.2 PTR. The changes include nerfs to the Aberrus trinkets, as well as tuning to the Amirdrassil Trinkets and Cantrip weapons, affecting their healing, damage, and other attributes.

In the latest Patch 10.2 PTR update, several adjustments have been made to the Aberrus trinkets, as well as the Amirdrassil Trinkets and Cantrip weapons. These changes aim to provide a more balanced gameplay experience for players. Let's take a closer look at the specific modifications.

Aberrus Trinket Nerfs

Starting with the Aberrus trinkets, some adjustments have been made to ensure their power is more in line with other items of similar rarity. Here are the detailed changes:

  • Blossom of Amirdrassil

All healing and absorbs have been increased by 20% to enhance the trinket's supportive capabilities.

  • Cataclysmic Signet Brand

Damage has been reduced by 16.5% to bring it in line with other trinkets of this nature.

  • Nymue's Unraveling Spindle

Damage against immobilized targets has been slightly decreased by 30% (previously 50%) to prevent it from becoming too overpowered.

  • Gift of Ursine Vengeance

Damage has been increased by 37.5%, making it a more formidable offensive option. However, its health regeneration has been decreased by 8.5% to balance out the power increase.

  • Fyrakk's Tainted Rageheart

Absorb and self-inflicted damage have been increased by 50%, making it a more impactful defensive choice. Additionally, damage has been increased by 31% to improve its offensive capabilities.

Cantrip Adjustments

In addition to the trinkets, some tuning adjustments have also been made to the Cantrip weapons. These changes aim to ensure a more balanced gameplay experience for players who wield these mystical artifacts. Let's take a closer look at the modifications:

  • Gholak, the Final Conflagration

Damage has been slightly decreased by 5% to prevent it from overpowering other Cantrip weapons.

  • Rashon, the Immortal Blaze

Damage has also been reduced by 5% to maintain a level playing field between the different Cantrip weapons.

  • Vakash, the Shadowed Inferno

Similar to the previous two Cantrips, damage has been decreased by 5% to ensure a more balanced gameplay experience.

  • Thorncaller Claw

The damage over time effect has been increased by 10%, making it a more potent option for continuous damage. Additionally, the proc damage has been heightened by 15% to improve its burst damage potential.

These adjustments to the Aberrus Trinkets and Cantrip weapons aim to create a more balanced gameplay experience, giving players an equal opportunity to succeed regardless of the items they possess.
