8.3 Changes to Heart of Azeroth

Following the huge changes to the Heart of Azeroth in Rise of Azshara, there are minor changes coming in Visions of N'Zoth. The Heart of Azeroth no longer has a level cap. AP Level unlocks a new Minor slot at Level 75 and two new Perseverance slots at Levels 71 and 80. With this, the Heart of Azeroth progression effectively ends at Level 80.

Following the huge changes to the Heart of Azeroth in Rise of Azshara, there are minor changes coming in Visions of N'Zoth.

  • The Heart of Azeroth no longer has a level cap.
  • AP Level unlocks a new Minor slot at Level 75 and two new Perseverance slots at Levels 71 and 80. With this, the Heart of Azeroth progression effectively ends at Level 80. You can continue grinding additional AP Levels for stronger effects on your essences and more item level on your Heart of Azeroth, but these are minor upgrades at best.
  • Seven new Essences are added to the Heart of Azeroth.
