Unholy Holds First in the September 5 Report

Unholy remains first, Augmentation rises to second, and Frost Death Knight drops one place to third. This historical Dragonflight Season 2 Week 18 report covers Mythic Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible during the week of September 5, 2023. Anshlun’s original was published September 12.

Time-window caveat: the article describes a weekly report, but its preserved overall and boss-damage images explicitly select a range of two weeks. The text table is reproduced as published; the images are labeled with their actual visible range. Their sample sizes should not be assumed to be identical to the table’s population figures.

The Complete Published Table

The report concerns Mythic overall damage at the 95th percentile. Population preserves its recorded sample, rather than unique players. Weekly change counts positions, with zero meaning unchanged.

Assassination and Arms each gain four places, the largest rises. Outlaw falls nine. Unholy’s population is 5,754 and its position is unchanged; Frost Mage’s 4,404 sample likewise accompanies no rank movement.

The Original Overall Capture Uses Two Weeks

All 26 positions in this image match the published order. Its controls select Mythic, the 95th percentile, all bosses, all item levels, normalized scores and the 10.1.7 partition. The visible range is two weeks, so it is preserved as a broader capture rather than represented as a verified one-week query.

Aberrus Week 18 overall source capture explicitly set to a two-week range
Original overall image: Mythic, 95th percentile, two weeks, 10.1.7 and normalized scores. The report’s prose describes the week of September 5.

A normalized score is not raw damage per second. A four-position climb also does not establish a four-percent damage gain. To compare a character’s output across dates, select matching encounters, difficulty and target criteria before investigating the abilities and conditions in each log.

Boss Damage Changes the Question

In the separate two-week boss-only capture, Unholy and Augmentation remain the leading pair, followed by Frost Mage and Affliction. Assassination is sixth there, while Enhancement is nineteenth. In the two-week overall image, those latter specs occupy thirteenth and seventh respectively.

The separate boss-only image also selects two weeks. It should not be relabeled as a one-week result.

Overall and boss-only damage answer different questions. A boss enrage and an unfinished required add may need different investigations. The boss-only chart does not measure every useful contribution to an encounter, and the overall chart does not show whether damage went to the target your group needed.

Keep Later Versions of Aberrus Separate

For a later report from the same season, see the October 17 Week 24 snapshot. Check its filters before comparing sample sizes: that preserved capture selects one week, whereas these images select two.

Changing the window changes what can enter the sample. It cannot be treated as evidence of a sudden rise in unique players, a spec’s popularity or the players’ skill. The publication date, query range and patch label together define the limits of a useful historical comparison.
