Augmentation and Unholy Swap the Leading Positions
Augmentation rises one place to first, while Unholy drops one to second. Demonology stays third in this historical Mythic Aberrus snapshot. The Dragonflight Season 2 Week 21 report covers the week of September 26, 2023, from Anshlun’s October 2 publication.
The preserved overall capture selects one week, the 95th percentile, all bosses, all item levels and the 10.1.7 partition. Its normalized score axis is not raw damage per second. All 26 positions match the source’s typed table.

The Complete Table and Correct Weekly Movement

How Augmentation’s Damage Credit Was Counted
Augmentation’s contribution is not limited to spells dealing damage directly. In a July 2023 explanation from Warcraft Logs, the operator describes using combat-log events to credit damage supplied through Augmentation buffs to the Evoker. That is why an in-game damage meter and the uploaded log could show different allocations.
The method’s existence should not be confused with a guarantee that every interaction was flawless. When reviewing a specific historical discrepancy, identify the affected ability and the logging behavior on that date. Neither ignoring all buff credit nor assuming perfect attribution is a sound way to interpret this ranking.
The Broader Distribution Keeps Unholy First
The all-percentile plot begins with Unholy, Augmentation and Fire. In that displayed order, Assassination is eighth and Survival seventeenth, compared with twentieth and twenty-fifth at the 95th percentile. The broader view is therefore distinct even where some leading specs overlap.

The distributions overlap, and the two images use different score-axis ranges. A percentile summary and a distribution are different views of the recorded results, not predictions of the DPS every player will achieve.
Comparing Later Results Without Losing the Patch Context
The October Week 24 report offers a later snapshot from the same 10.1.7 partition. Match the encounter, difficulty, damage target and time window before comparing positions or populations.
To understand a change in an individual player’s performance, inspect equipment, cooldown use, deaths and assignments in matching logs. A weekly position change can point toward that investigation; it does not identify a cause, quantify a damage increase or prove the player should switch specs.
