This guide is devoted to the Eranog fight in Vault of the Incarnates on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulty. It is the first fight of the raid, and as usual, they ease you in with a simple one.
Eranog Normal Difficulty
Burning Wounds stacks a fire DoT on his target. Tank swap every two stacks or when it starts to hurt.
Molten Cleave is a big old frontal cone in a random direction. Get out of the way.
Incinerating Roar does some raid damage to keep the healer busy.
Flamerift marks a bunch of players, and after a few seconds, they will drop pools which then summon one add per pool. The marked players should get out of the middle and loosely group up to summon their adds loosely together. Once they spawn, the adds randomly fixate people and irritate them, so CC, kite, and clean them up.
When Eranog hits 100 energy, he pulses raid damage and summons a ring of adds that will collapse in on you like a hot garbage squisher. Mark one add and kill it to make a gap in the
ring for the raid to pass through. Do not touch the fiery line unless you want to be super dead.
Once you’re safely through and the rest of the adds make it to the middle, you’re back to Phase 1 — nothing to it on Normal difficulty.
Eranog Heroic Difficulty
On Heroic, it gets spiced up with some more stuff to dodge. There will be some new swirls to avoid that spawn
Molten Spikes. Don’t be in the way of that. Those spikes explode again when
Incinerating Roar goes off, so don’t hang out right by Molten Spikes either.
Eranog Mythic Difficulty
Coming soon… Please, check back in a few days.
