The 12.0.5 Lingering Shadows update rewrote how Mythic+ rewards trickle into your gear list, dropped two new long-grind achievements at the top of the keystone ladder, slipped Lindormi's Glow into every dungeon for tanks, and put a new pearlescent murloc on every housing decor wishlist. The Voidforge is the centerpiece of 12.0.5. Cores drop from basically everything endgame this season: every Mythic+ timer, every raid boss in The Voidspire, The Dreamrift, and March on Quel'Danas, plus Bountiful Delves and the Nightmare Prey Hunts if you are already farming them. M+ is where the volume lives, and one timed key per dungeon per week is the realistic budget for most people. Raid items cost 2 cores apiece and M+ items cost 1. The Mythic+ corner of the system is the one most players will live in. Wowhead's Voidforge guide walks the math, but the short version: a core spent on a +10 timed run rolls a Myth 1/6 item from that dungeon's pool, the same ilvl the +10 would offer in the Great Vault. That makes Voidforge the first reliable Myth-track path for players who never set foot in a Mythic raid lockout. The achievement that everyone is grinding for is Keystone Myth, awarded at 3,400 Mythic+ rating during Midnight Season 1. The reward is the Timelost Saddle, which you take to Lindormi in Silvermoon's Timeways to exchange for a mount. Blizzard pulled together a curated pool of past Keystone Master and Keystone Legend mounts plus net-new options, modeled on (but not identical to) the PvP Vicious Saddle exchange. The saddle expires at season end, so this is a season-locked trophy, not a forever-token.

Sitting above Keystone Myth is the Umbral Champion achievement: end Midnight Season 1 with a Mythic+ rating in the top 1% of all players in your region. The reward is an exclusive mount no other tier can earn, and unlike Keystone Master mounts in past seasons it does not get recolored and re-released in later patches. The top-1% cutoff drifts as the season matures, so the safest read on "what 1% looks like" right now is to track the live leaderboard on raider.io as the season settles.
Of every quality-of-life note in 12.0.5, the one most likely to change how dungeons feel from the first pull is Lindormi's Glow. The feature highlights priority enemy forces in every Midnight Mythic+ dungeon, even when the Lindormi's Guidance affix is not active. Blizzard built it for the tank role, where memorizing 12-week route variations was the biggest barrier to pugging high keys. Now the markers ship into the dungeon by default; your job is to round up what is lit and keep moving.
