Since the comprehensive overhaul with the Dragonflight update, players had expressed frustration about being unable to alter their Knowledge Points once assigned. This rigidity made it difficult to explore alternatives within Profession leveling and optimization. The latest patch, however, introduces a much-needed flexibility to this structure.
To make use of this new flexibility, follow these detailed steps:
Your first task is to locate Darla Fluxy, the new Goblin NPC critical to this process. She is positioned just outside the Crafter's Enclave in Dornogal. Finding her can be a bit tricky as she is nearly obscured by another NPC. You should look for her near the crates directly to the right of the Crafting Order NPC.
Upon initiating conversation with Darla Fluxy, you will be prompted to choose which of your currently learned Khaz Algar Professions you wish to respec. It’s important to remember that the respec option can only be exercised once per profession, so make your choice wisely.
After agreeing to the disclaimer that this action is irreversible after it’s done once, all previously spent Knowledge Points within that specific Profession will be refunded. You now have the opportunity to allocate these points anew, potentially simplifying your leveling process or increasing your profits by refining your market strategy.
Please note, the current system limits players to a single respec per Profession. This restriction aims to maintain market stability by preventing frequent and strategic specialization swaps during early expansion cycles.
