Several notable changes went live around the same period. The Headless Horseman's Mount received a bonus-chance mechanic: the first player to earn the drop in a given day gained an extra roll, with chances scaling based on the number of curses applied during the encounter.
The Guardians of the Dream PTR (Patch 10.2) brought class updates for Demon Hunters, Monks, Rogues, and several other specs. Mythic+ and Raid testing schedules were updated for coordinated group testing ahead of launch. Players preparing for Season 3 could review current WoW raid progression to plan their approach.
The WoW Community Council shared early Hallow's End impressions as the holiday event ran. Players reported on the atmosphere and seasonal rewards, and Blizzard indicated the feedback would inform future iterations of the event.
Blizzard confirmed additional details for earning The Scarlet Key, an item that grants account-wide access to an older version of the Scarlet Monastery. The confirmation covered the account-wide benefit, meaning a single key acquisition unlocks the content for all characters.
An unintentional bug briefly took the Classic Weekly Raid Quest offline. Blizzard resolved the issue and confirmed the quest returned to its regular weekly schedule with no missed lockouts or compensation required.
