Patch 10.2 Hotfixes, November 10: Forest Lord's Antlers Fix

Blizzard's November 10, 2023 Dragonflight hotfixes: Forest Lord's Antlers moved to Treasures of the Emerald Dream, plus Druid and Evoker bug fixes.

What the November 10 hotfixes changed

Blizzard rolled out a round of Emerald Dream hotfixes on November 10, 2023, in the opening week of Dragonflight's Guardians of the Dream patch. The batch was small but pointed: one transmog reward moved to the achievement players expected, a handful of Druid and Evoker bugs were closed, and a few Emerald Bounty chests stopped lying about their contents. These were the fixes that shipped that day.

Achievements: Forest Lord's Antlers found its home

Forest Lord's Antlers had been dropping from the wrong achievement. Blizzard intended the cosmetic to reward Dream On, but a bug handed it out through Treasures of the Emerald Dream instead. Rather than claw it back, the hotfix made Treasures of the Emerald Dream the permanent source, so everyone who had already earned the antlers kept them.

Class fixes

Guardian Druid

Innate Resolve stopped failing to increase the healing of Frenzied Regeneration, restoring a chunk of the bear's self-sustain that had been silently missing.

Restoration Druid

Abundance stacks no longer dropped when a Druid had more Rejuvenations active than the maximum Abundance stack count, a fringe case that had been quietly bleeding stacks off the healer's cheapest ramp tool.

Evoker

Evokers who used a character Boost had been losing 10 item levels to a bug. Blizzard closed it, and boosted Evokers stopped shedding gear power on the spot.

Emerald Bounty chest reports

Three of the Emerald Bounty's blooming chests had been misreporting their state. Scurfpea Bloom was not appearing properly, Dream Daisies were flagging chests players did not actually have, and Dragon's Daffodil occasionally reported a chest that was not there. Blizzard corrected all three so the Emerald Dream stopped sending players on empty runs.

Items and quests

On the gear side, the Spirit effect on Imbued Frostweave Slippers was cut by 70%. The slippers kept the effect but stopped overshadowing other healer footwear, which pushed them back into optional-optimization territory rather than a mandatory pickup.

Two quest blockers also cleared. Alts could finally complete the "Dryad Fire Drill" World Quest without first finishing Chapter 1, and the Hunter Class Hall campaign quest "Survive the Night" stopped refusing to complete.

Where this batch sits now

None of these were headline balance swings; they were the housekeeping that kept Season 3's opening week honest. The Forest Lord's Antlers ruling in particular held, so the antlers remain a Treasures of the Emerald Dream reward rather than a Dream On one. Players still chasing Dragonflight-era renown and cosmetics can speed up a reputation grind with a coaching hand.
