Achieving Dragon Isles Pathfinder
Dragon Isles Pathfinder was an account-wide achievement that unlocked traditional flying across all Dragon Isles zones. It became available with Patch 10.2 "Guardians of the Dream," which launched on November 7, 2023. Once earned, every character on the account could fly using any standard flying mount throughout the Dragon Isles.
The Eight Required Sub-Achievements
Dragon Isles Pathfinder required completing all eight sub-achievements listed below. No reputation or renown threshold was part of the final live version. An early PTR preview had listed a "Freshscales Fifteen" renown requirement, but Blizzard removed it before Patch 10.2 went live.
- Waking Hope: Complete the Waking Shores storyline.
- Ohn'a'Roll: Complete the Ohn'ahran Plains storyline.
- Azure Spanner: Complete the Azure Span storyline.
- Just Don't Ask Me to Spell It: Complete the Thaldraszus storyline.
- Embers of Neltharion: Complete the Forbidden Reach and Zaralek Cavern storylines (Patch 10.1 content).
- Dragon Isles Explorer: Explore all original Dragon Isles zones.
- Explore Zaralek Cavern: Fully explore Zaralek Cavern and reveal its map.
- Explore the Emerald Dream: Fully explore the Emerald Dream, Patch 10.2's new zone, and reveal its map.
All eight sub-achievements were account-wide, so progress from any character counted toward Pathfinder for every character on the account.
Patch 10.2 and the Emerald Dream
Patch 10.2 "Guardians of the Dream" launched November 7, 2023 and introduced the Emerald Dream as a new open-world zone alongside the Dream Wardens faction. The "Explore the Emerald Dream" sub-achievement was the only Patch 10.2-specific requirement — players who had already completed the other seven sub-achievements needed only to explore the new zone to finish Dragon Isles Pathfinder.
Retroactive Access
Dragonflight has since concluded, but Dragon Isles Pathfinder remains unlockable today. Players who earn it retroactively gain account-wide traditional flying across all Dragon Isles zones, useful for returning to Dragonflight content or expanding a flying mount collection.
