In the latest update to the World of Warcraft PTR, a significant alteration has been made to the rewards system associated with Feats of Strength Achievements. These achievements are an integral part of the end-game content each season and come with their own set of challenges and perks.
Previously, completing any of these challenging achievements would reward players with a unique item redeemable for Tier Set armor specific to that season. Moving forward, instead of receiving a single item, each achievement will grant a Catalyst Charge. This transition from a static item reward to a more flexible Catalyst Charge system allows for a total of three additional Catalyst Charges per player every season.
With the start of Season 2, the mechanism for earning Catalyst Charges has been tweaked to provide players with more frequent rewards, encouraging continuous engagement throughout the season.
