Gold Transfer
One of the primary draws of the Warband Bank is account-wide gold storage. Rather than relying on the mail system to move gold between characters, you can deposit and withdraw from a single shared pool, with no faction restrictions and no per-character ledger. Any character on your account can tap that shared get WoW gold supply directly.
Warband Bank Tabs
The Warband Bank ships with five tabs, each holding 98 items, for a combined 490 shared storage slots. Only non-soulbound items can be deposited.
None of the tabs are unlocked by default; each must be purchased separately, with costs rising progressively. Unlocking all five totals 3,500 gold.
| Tab | Cost |
|---|---|
| Tab 1 | 500g |
| Tab 2 | 500g |
| Tab 3 | 750g |
| Tab 4 | 750g |
| Tab 5 | 1,000g |
| Total | 3,500g |
The escalating cost is deliberate: Blizzard designed the later tabs as a gold sink for dedicated players rather than a universal day-one unlock.
Tab Layout and Customisation
Like a Guild Bank, each tab can be assigned a custom icon and organised to your preferences. Splitting reagents, transmog, consumables, and crafting materials into separate tabs makes it straightforward to locate items across a full roster of characters.
Accessing Your Warband Bank
The Warband Bank appears inside the standard bank interface, alongside the Reagent Bank. Any bank access method opens it: a city banker, Jeeves (Engineering perk), or the Pack Hobgoblin racial for Goblin characters.
Completing the "Dynamic Duo" Warband achievement rewards the Warband Bank Distance Inhibitor, a portable device that grants access from anywhere in the world.
