Confirmed Augmentation Evoker Combat Log Fixes in Patch 10.1.7
Patch 10.1.7 brought Augmentation Evoker one step closer to full damage reattribution in Warcraft Logs. The Warcraft Logs team detailed the additional combat log hook fixes shipped with the patch, along with an updated list of known remaining bugs. Players assessing Augmentation performance in logs during this period needed to account for these outstanding issues, as several abilities still did not reattribute correctly — requiring further work from Blizzard before Warcraft Logs could fully close them.
General
- Damage abilities shared across specs now attributed correctly for healers (Consecration, Shield of the Righteous, Hammer of Wrath, Crusader Strike, Thrash, Swipe, Rake, Ferocious Bite, and others)

Remaining Augmentation Evoker Combat Log Bugs
Several issues remained unresolved after Patch 10.1.7 and required additional Blizzard-side work before Warcraft Logs could address them. Players interpreting Augmentation Evoker logs during this patch needed to treat the data with appropriate caveats.
General Bugs
- Ebon Might, Shifting Sands, and Prescience did not reattribute when the initial hit was fully absorbed (this was fixed prior and reintroduced on July 26)
- Prescience occasionally claimed the entire damage of the triggering hit for a short window
- Trinket friendly-fire reattributed incorrectly (e.g. Neltharion class trinkets)
- In large pulls, support events sometimes wrote negative values until leaving combat

Special Cases by Spec
- Mistweaver: Almost nothing reattributed except Zen Pulse
- Feral: Feral Frenzy values against Ebon Might appeared misaligned; similar issues with Tear (Rip & Tear) and Pouncing Strikes
- Shadow: Prescience did not work with Shadowy Apparitions or Tormented Spirits
- Destruction: Prescience did not appear to increase Chaos Bolt damage
Healing Reattribution
HoT reattribution was highly inconsistent at this stage — ranging from overclaiming (50%+ of healing) to claiming beyond 100% of healing done. The healing reattribution implementation also caused absorbs to occasionally log negative values, further complicating accurate performance assessment.
The Warcraft Logs team's work on Augmentation Evoker tracking across Patch 10.1.7 and subsequent Dragonflight patches represented one of the most complex log-engineering challenges of the expansion.
