From Thursday, 21 September through Monday, 25 September 2023, Blizzard opened a weekend Mythic+ testing window on the 10.2 PTR. The window ran from 10:00 PDT each day. The schedule was subject to adjustment in the event of technical issues.
Six of the Dragonflight Season 3 Mythic+ dungeons were accessible during the weekend:
Players could collect and configure Mythic Keystones from the Keystone Vendor in Valdrakken. A nearby Dungeon Teleports NPC provided direct transit to each dungeon entrance.
The September 21 window was one of the earlier public PTR windows before Patch 10.2 "Guardians of the Dream" launched. It gave raiding guilds and Mythic+ pushers an early look at the Season 3 dungeon pool before tuning stabilised. Community feedback from these sessions fed into the final balance pass before Season 3 went live.
