⚠️ Archive note: The Emerald Dream public events were introduced in Dragonflight Patch 10.2 "Guardians of the Dream" (November 2023). The current expansion is Midnight. This guide is a reference for completionists, achievement hunters, and returning players revisiting Dragonflight content.
Patch 10.2 gave the Emerald Dream three distinct events that reinforce one another. Understanding how they chain together lets you make the most of each hour you spend in the zone.
Each full rotation in the Emerald Dream follows the same arc. The Superbloom fires at the top of every hour; when it ends, an Emerald Frenzy erupts across the zone for roughly 10 minutes; a second independent Frenzy also fires partway through the hour. Between and after those windows, players plant Dreamseeds to trigger Emerald Bounties at their own pace.
The practical loop looks like this: complete the Superbloom to earn a weekly Gigantic Dreamseed and replenish Plump Dreamseeds; farm Emerald Dewdrops during the Frenzy window; then plant a Dreamseed before the next Superbloom starts while your Dewdrop reserves are high enough to contribute the full 500 required for bloom. Repeating this three-event cycle is the most efficient way to accumulate Dream Wardens reputation, Seedbloom currency, and rare cosmetic drops at the same time.
✏️ Player tip: Plant your Dreamseed at a mud pile before the Superbloom begins. The 3-minute contribution window starts on planting; other players arriving for the next bloom will see the active bounty and add their Emerald Dewdrops, letting you hit the 500-Dewdrop threshold without solo-grinding the full amount.
The Superbloom is the anchor event of the hour. It begins at the top of every hour and is led by Sprucecrown, an Ancient of Life NPC who travels the perimeter of Amirdrassil. Players follow Sprucecrown and complete a series of rotating phase objectives — the Superbloom draws from up to nine named phase types including Pest Patrol, Growing Concerns, Seeding Chaos, and An Unruly Storm, with three to four phases appearing each run in randomized order.
During the combat phases, enough defeated Primalist mobs cause Marikke, a dragonkin Primalist leader, to spawn as a bonus encounter — defeating her rewards extra loot on top of the standard completion rewards. The event's concluding encounter pits players against Verlann Timbercrush.

Once the Superbloom ends, the Emerald Frenzy begins immediately — shift focus from the bloom path to mob farming.
Emerald Frenzy starts immediately when a Superbloom ends and lasts approximately 10 minutes. A second independent Frenzy window also fires partway through each hour, giving players two earn periods per cycle rather than one. During both windows, mobs across the Emerald Dream are empowered; killing them drops two currencies:
The Frenzy window is the fastest source of Emerald Dewdrops, so being present in the zone during both Frenzy periods significantly accelerates Emerald Bounty progress compared to farming mobs outside the event window.
Emerald Bounty is the only event players control the timing of. Planting a Dreamseed at one of the mud pile locations scattered across the Emerald Dream starts a 3-minute contribution window during which any player in the area can add Emerald Dewdrops. Once the total reaches 500 Dewdrops, the seed blooms into a reward chest called a Dreamtrove. Three seed tiers produce different chests:

All Dreamtroves pay out Seedbloom, the primary cosmetic vendor currency for the Emerald Dream. Vendors Talisa and Sylvia Whisperbloom accept Seedbloom for deterministic rewards including transmog appearances, battle pets, and mounts — making Emerald Bounty the most reliable path to specific cosmetics without relying on RNG drops.
📌 Common misconception: Some early guides referred to these events as "Enchanted Frenzy," "Enchanted Bounties," or the zone as the "Enchanted Grove." None of those names are correct — the zone is the Emerald Dream, and the events are Emerald Frenzy and Emerald Bounty. The Seedbloom faction is Dream Wardens, not "Grove Guardians."
Superbloom is the main hourly public event in the Emerald Dream zone, introduced in Patch 10.2 "Guardians of the Dream." Players follow Sprucecrown, an Ancient of Life NPC, around the Amirdrassil perimeter and complete rotating phase objectives. The first weekly completion awards a Cache of Overblooming Treasures with Dream Wardens reputation and Veteran-tier gear.
Emerald Frenzy is a 10-minute event that triggers immediately after a Superbloom ends. A second independent Frenzy also fires during the middle of each hour. During both windows, mobs across the Emerald Dream drop Emerald Dewdrops and Slumbering Dream Fragments — the primary currencies for fueling Emerald Bounty plants.
Plant a Dreamseed at a mud pile location in the Emerald Dream to start a 3-minute contribution window. Other players can add their Emerald Dewdrops; once the combined total reaches 500, the seed blooms into a Dreamtrove chest. Small seeds produce Sprouting Dreamtroves, Plump seeds produce Budding Dreamtroves, and Gigantic seeds produce Blossoming Dreamtroves.
Dream Wardens is the reputation faction tied to the Emerald Dream public events in Patch 10.2. Players earn reputation primarily through Superbloom completions — 1,000 on the first weekly kill via the Cache of Overblooming Treasures, and 50 per subsequent Superbloom. Higher renown unlocks transmog, pets, and mounts at milestone rewards.
Seedbloom is the cosmetic vendor currency from the Emerald Bounty event. It is spent at Talisa and Sylvia Whisperbloom, who sell transmog appearances, battle pets, and mounts without RNG. Seedbloom is earned from all three Dreamtrove tiers, making Emerald Bounty the most efficient path to specific Emerald Dream cosmetics.
There are three Dreamseed tiers: Small (drops a Sprouting Dreamtrove), Plump (drops a Budding Dreamtrove that may contain one of six named pets), and Gigantic (drops a Blossoming Dreamtrove with a chance at rare mounts). Gigantic Dreamseeds are awarded from the weekly Superbloom cache; Plump Dreamseeds drop from subsequent Superbloom completions.
Marikke is a dragonkin Primalist leader who spawns during the Superbloom when enough Primalist mobs are defeated, providing a bonus loot opportunity. Verlann Timbercrush is the concluding encounter of the Superbloom event. Defeating both during a single Superbloom run maximizes the rewards for that cycle.
The Emerald Dream zone and its public events are still accessible as legacy Dragonflight content. The current expansion is Midnight (launched March 2, 2026). Dream Wardens reputation, cosmetics, and mounts from the Blossoming Dreamtrove are still obtainable — the events run on the same hourly schedule they did at patch launch.
