Holiday Break Activities in Warcraft

With Winter Veil celebrations underway, Blizzard has lined up several activities to fill the holiday break. Watch for the Trading Post preview for January 2026, which Blizzard typically publishes in the final days of December ahead of the month-end rotation.

Winter Veil is active through the end of the year, with seasonal quests and gift-wrapped loot in Ironforge and Orgrimmar.
Legion Remix Phase 5: Infinite Echoes is in its final stretch — the event ends January 19, 2026, making this one of the last weeks to finish the Traveler's Log and claim phase rewards.
A new episode of Around Azeroth, Soulsobreezy's community housing tour series, is live for the holiday week.

The most pressing deadline this week is the Phase 5 Traveler's Log. Players who still need bronze or uncollected cosmetics should prioritise that before the event closes in January.

Maximising Bronze Income This Week

For players pushing bronze totals during the holiday break, the most efficient sources per day are:

Raid bosses (any difficulty): 2,500 bronze per boss via Minor Bronze Cache — Normal, Heroic, and Mythic all award the same amount per kill.
Infinite Research quests from Eternus: 4,000 bronze each via Lesser Bronze Cache; most efficient early in a session before daily caps on other sources.
Emissary Quests: 8,500 bronze (Greater Bronze Cache); strong solo income with no group content required.
Lost Legion Infernals and Legion Assaults: 12,500 bronze (Greater Bronze Cache), once per day per account — worth hitting first on each log-in before tackling other content.

The Pet Battle Bonus Event is also active this week alongside Turbulent Timeways Week 4 (Legion Timewalking content). EU servers have Super Squirt Day on December 27 — the Squirt NPC buff stacks with the bonus event for fast battle pet levelling.

Housing Addons Worth Installing

Blizzard announced Game Data API changes for player housing on December 19, 2025, giving addon authors access to decor and fixture data. Three addons that take advantage of the new and existing housing toolset:

ADT — Advanced Decoration Tools: A full-featured housing editor with an undo log to walk back placement mistakes during Edit mode sessions.
Decor Tooltip: Displays detailed item information on decor pieces while in Housing Edit mode, including ownership status so you can tell which items belong to you versus which are borrowed from another player's storage.
Ludius Plus: Highlights which decor pieces you already own versus which are vendor-only while browsing the housing vendor, preventing accidental duplicate purchases.

All three are available on CurseForge and install through the Addons tab in the Game Menu. Open Housing Edit mode after installing to verify each addon's interface initialises correctly before your next decoration session.
