How Does The Fury Valve Work in PoE?

Fury Valve completely changes how "Additional Projectiles" work on your character. Normally, "+2 Projectiles" makes you fire three projectiles at once.
With Fury Valve equipped, that "+2 Projectiles" stat (plus the +2 from the amulet itself) is ignored at the start. Instead, your skill fires its base number of projectiles (usually one). When that projectile hits an enemy, it "Splits" and creates new projectiles that target nearby enemies. The number of new projectiles it creates is equal to your "Additional Projectiles" stat. This can turn a single projectile into a massive chain reaction, clearing entire packs.

Can Split Projectiles Return in Path of Exile?

Yes, they can. Splitting is a projectile behavior that happens on hit. After a projectile hits and splits, the new projectiles it creates are treated as new entities. This allows for incredibly powerful combinations, where your projectiles split and then return to you, hitting enemies multiple times.
