Altar of Fangs Carry Runs in WoW Midnight
Altar of Fangs is the new dungeon added in Patch 12.1, sunk beneath the Vaults of Atal'Utek on the Coiled Isle, and it walks straight into the Season 2 Mythic+ pool. Three bosses guard the temple and every one of them leans hard on Nature damage and forced movement — the kind of fight where a pug loses two people to an avoidable pool and the key is over. WowCarry's premade groups clear the whole instance so your lockout turns into loot.
It runs a 29-minute Mythic+ timer, which is generous on paper and tight in practice once the trash between bosses is pulled properly. Our teams route it the way it is meant to be routed.
What You Fight in Altar of Fangs
The dungeon is a three-boss run, cleared in a fixed order:
- Rav'i — the opening encounter, and the one that punishes loose positioning the fastest.
- The Writhing Coil — the mid-dungeon fight, heavy on add control and Nature damage going out.
- Zul'jan — the final boss beneath the altar itself.
Zul'jan also carries the dungeon's rarest reward: The Writhing Brood mount, which can drop on Mythic and Mythic+ difficulty. It is a drop, not a guarantee, so repeat runs are the realistic way to chase it — pick your run count above.
Altar of Fangs Loot and Item Levels
Difficulty sets the track your gear lands on, and Mythic+ scales with the key level you order:
| Difficulty | What it is for |
| Heroic | The fast gearing floor — the quickest way to fill empty slots. |
| Mythic 0 | A step up from Heroic with no keystone required. |
| Mythic+ | Scales with key level; a timed +10 feeds a Great Vault up to 318 ilvl. |
A timed +10 here also banks the dungeon's teleport for the rest of the season, so the instance sits one click away on every character afterwards.
How a WowCarry Dungeon Run Works
- Step 1 — Pick the run: choose difficulty, how many runs you want, and whether you want an express start; tell support your region and realm.
- Step 2 — The team forms: a premade of vetted boosters assembles and invites you to the group, usually within 15 minutes.
- Step 3 — Clear and loot: the instance is cleared end to end and your lockout goes to loot rather than to a queue. Self-play only — you are in the group on your own character throughout.
Every run is hand-played by vetted boosters, with no bots and no account sharing. Browse the rest of our WoW Mythic+ dungeon boosts for the full Season 2 pool.
