King's Rest Carry Runs in WoW Midnight
King's Rest is the Zandalari royal tomb beneath Dazar'alor, and it returns in the Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ pool reworked for Patch 12.1. It has always been the dungeon that separates careful groups from fast ones — long trash corridors, heavy crowd-control demands, and a boss list that ends with a king who does not forgive sloppy cooldown use. WowCarry premades clear it end to end so the lockout becomes loot rather than a lesson.
The 12.1 rework retuned the instance for current-season gear, so old Battle for Azeroth routes and pull orders no longer apply cleanly. Our teams run it on the current layout every reset.
What You Fight in King's Rest
Four encounters, cleared in a fixed order:
- The Golden Serpent — the opening fight in the entry chamber.
- Mchimba the Embalmer — the tomb's undertaker, and a healing check.
- The Council of Tribes — a multi-target council fight where target priority decides the pace.
- Dazar, the First King — the final boss, waiting at the bottom of the crypt.
King's Rest Loot and Item Levels
Because the dungeon was re-itemised for Season 2, its drops sit on the current season's tracks rather than the old Battle for Azeroth tables:
| Difficulty | What it is for |
| Heroic | The fast gearing floor — the quickest way to fill empty slots. |
| Mythic 0 | A step up from Heroic with no keystone required. |
| Mythic+ | Scales with key level; a timed +10 feeds a Great Vault up to 318 ilvl. |
A timed +10 also unlocks the King's Rest teleport for the rest of the season.
How a WowCarry Dungeon Run Works
- Step 1 — Pick the run: choose difficulty, how many runs you want, and whether you want an express start; tell support your region and realm.
- Step 2 — The team forms: a premade of vetted boosters assembles and invites you to the group, usually within 15 minutes.
- Step 3 — Clear and loot: the instance is cleared end to end and your lockout goes to loot rather than to a queue. Self-play only — you are in the group on your own character throughout.
Every run is hand-played by vetted boosters, with no bots and no account sharing. Browse the rest of our WoW Mythic+ dungeon boosts for the full Season 2 pool.
