Four Marks Unlock Four Specific Druid Appearances
Retail WoW’s Emerald Dream Silent Marks unlock Evergreen Dreamsaber, Loamy Umbraclaw, Lush Dreamstag and Thriving Dreamtalon. Each purchased mark leads to its named appearance. Targeting a differently colored creature does not grant the whole family’s color collection.
These customizations arrived with Dragonflight’s 10.2 update. Blizzard’s Druid customization feature separates Cat, Bear, ground Travel, aquatic and flight appearances. The four Silent Marks cover Cat, Bear and ground Travel.
Buy the Mark From Thaelishar Groveheart
Take a Druid with access to the Dragonflight Emerald Dream to Thaelishar Groveheart, the Fauna Specialist, in the Wildling Garden, north of the Eye of Ysera. His approximate map position is X:60.3, Y:17.0.
The listed vendor price is 500 gold per Silent Mark. Choose the appearance you want before buying. The base item’s name describes the creature family used for attunement; the resulting item’s name identifies the appearance you learn.

The base and completed items have different use effects: attunement and learning. Buying a Silent Mark starts the process; it does not immediately add all of that family’s variants to the barber.
Attune the Mark, Then Learn the Appearance
The Warcraft Secrets collection guide documents the four routes. Use the same purchased mark while working toward its result:
- Find an eligible creature of the matching family. A Dreamsaber mark is for dreamsabers; the Dreamstag, Dreamtalon and Umbraclaw marks each have their own targets.
- Target the creature and channel the item. Repeat on eligible creatures until the Silent Mark changes into the named appearance item. It is not a fresh purchase for every channel.
- If a creature is temporarily marked as recently attuned, move to another eligible target or wait for that status to expire. A matching-looking model is not a guarantee that every NPC using it is a valid target.
- Use the resulting appearance item. Then visit a barber and select it under the corresponding Druid form category.
Check the item in your bags when progress appears to stop. A Silent Mark still has the attunement use text; the completed mark says it unlocks a barber customization. This helps distinguish unfinished attunement from an appearance item that has not yet been used.
Other Colors Need Their Own Unlocks
The broader 10.2 collection includes several colors for the same creature families. A Golden Gladehart or another Dreamtalon palette in a promotional image is not a promise that one 500-gold Silent Mark unlocks it.
Search for the exact appearance name you want when checking another vendor, rare drop, quest or crafted mark. For these four purchases, the result names are fixed in the comparison: Evergreen, Loamy, Lush and Thriving.
Aquatic and Flight Forms Follow Separate Routes
The fish-like aquatic appearance and Somnowl flight forms belong to other parts of the Emerald Dream customization collection. They are outside the four Silent Mark routes.
