After days of intense effort and strategy, the Race to World First has finally come to an end. This marks the perfect time to enjoy the final RWF Recap Video with Dratnos & Tettles, who have been our trusted guides throughout this thrilling competition.
Interestingly, the previous day's recap was delayed due to Echo's determination to defeat the boss. They stubbornly persisted until the early hours of the morning, ultimately unaware that neither they nor Liquid would be able to secure the kill before retiring for the night. Their decision to take a break was influenced, in part, by a nerf that was implemented at around 9pm local time. This nerf, which made an already challenging boss more dangerous, fueled their concerns that the boss may perish while they slept.
Contrary to their fears, Phase 3 brought an exponential increase in difficulty, resulting in multiple sub-10% wipes by both Liquid and Echo. The tension and excitement escalated as both guilds repeatedly reached 1.7% best pulls, leaving us on the edge of our seats. However, with only milliseconds to spare before the raid would have succumbed to a lethal seed, Echo emerged as the first to secure the kill!
Dratnos and Tettles unanimously agree that this has been the most thrilling and competitive Race to World First to date.
