Curating Transmogs for Various Armor Sets in Time-Running: Significant Alterations, Minor Glitches

The blog post discusses the new feature in Timerunning: Mists of Pandaria where collectors can purchase and learn transmog ensembles from other armor types. It highlights the process of acquiring ensembles, the bugs currently present in the system, missing information, the new visual IDs for raid sets, and the class ensembles and arsenals available.

Hey there, collectors! It's WowCarry here with some exciting news for all of you. During Timerunning: Mists of Pandaria, you will have the opportunity to expand your transmog collection by purchasing and learning transmog ensembles from other armor types. The system is currently being tested on the PTR, although it still has a few bugs that need to be ironed out.

Acquiring Ensembles

Acquiring these ensembles is a relatively simple process. All you need to do is head over to an Infinite Bazaar, which can be found in every zone in Pandaria. Once there, you can speak to one of the ensemble vendors who specialize in different sets:

  • Larah Treebender - Sells Open World sets
  • Arturos - Sells Dungeon sets
  • Aeonicus - Sells LFR Raid sets
  • Durus - Sells Normal Raid sets
  • Pythagorus - Sells Heroic/Mythic Raid sets
  • Grandmaster Jakkus - Sells Class sets

Simply select the ensemble of your choice and make the purchase. The price of ensembles can vary, with Open World sets costing as low as 0Bronze and raid sets reaching as high as 0Bronze.

Sneaky Bugs

It's worth noting that, at the time of writing this post, the system does have a couple of bugs. Currently, you won't be able to see your completion status for sets that are not for your armor type. This means that the "Already Known" tag won't appear when you mouseover these sets. Additionally, the game does not prevent you from learning a set that is not for your armor type, even if you already know it. So, be cautious to avoid wasting precious Bronze on sets you already have.

Missing Information

When learning sets that are not for your armor type, the game will not provide any indication that the set has been learned. The only way to check is to log into a character of that specific armor type and check their wardrobe. Keep this in mind to avoid any confusion.

New Visual IDs?

For those of you who collect visual IDs, you may find that you need to farm some additional Bronze. This is because many of the raid sets currently have an uncommon item in their chest instead of the regular raid item. It is unclear whether this is intentional or a bug; however, it means that even for sets you have already completed, there is a new Visual ID available for raid chests.

Class Ensembles and Arsenals

The only sets that currently have requirements are the class ensembles and arsenals. These sets are similar to the Trading Post sets that were available in late 2023 at the Trading Post, but they now feature new colors. To unlock the ability to purchase the class ensembles at 0Bronze each, you must complete "Landfall" with any character. As for the class arsenals, they require "Isle of Thunder" to be purchased at 0Bronze each.

Please note that if you want to view all Ensembles and Arsenals in the vendor window, you will need to switch the vendor filter from your class to "All".
