Blizzard's adjustments to Voidweaver sent ripples through the Solo Shuffle scene, prompting a full healer tier reset. Discipline Priest took three nerfs in one go; the sharpest was Trinity's cast-speed boost dropping from 30% to 10%, directly cutting Voidweaver's ceiling in both 3v3 and Solo Shuffle. Rapid Atonement stacking through Trinity had been the cornerstone of their output, and losing that window speed changed the matchup calculus across the board.

Fire Mages gained traction through the Arcane Phoenix ability from the Sunfury hero-talent tree, which fires deterministically during Combustion and delivers a concentrated burst package. Marksmanship Hunters — demanding to play at full efficiency — earned recognition for burst sequences that could drop an entire enemy team's health in a single swap. Players looking to push their Solo Shuffle rating found Mage and Hunter in range-DPS slots particularly rewarding that patch.
