WotLK Classic Enchanting Carry

Enchanting is a crafting profession in WotLK. No armor set is complete without proper enchantments bound to all possible pieces of gear. Whether it's green leather boots you picked up from the farmer's quest or an epic purple helmet you looted from the Lich King himself - a good enchantment will boost your stats, making your life easier. Enchantments come in a great variety and can adapt to the needs of a particular hero. Weapon enchantments can directly increase stats, periodically inflict fire damage on the target or have a chance to boost your secondary stats for a short time. Armor enchantments are no less helpful and significantly improve stamina and various magic damage resistances. Healers might appreciate mana and mana regeneration enchantments, allowing them to heal more targets before they drain their mana reserve. Although it comes not from the profession - the runeforging of death knight class counts as enchantment. Those runes are free and usually slightly more potent than ordinary enchantments available to all classes. Death knights can bolster their defense stat, parry and armor, and enchant a weapon with ice and fire magic. Like most professions - enchanters can offer their services to other players, salvaging items into magic dust and crystals, directly applying spells to player's gear, or selling enchanting scrolls in the auction house. These scrolls let players keep some buffs in reserve for their newly acquired gear without the need to head back to town every ten minutes. While you can learn most of the enchantments from any enchantment profession trainer, some particular enchantments are only available for purchase from the Sons of Hodir faction vendor on Honored and Exalted reputation levels.
